Master set tracker

Track your master set, card by card

Building a master set means owning every card in it — and knowing exactly what is left. PocketRune gives every set a live checklist: tap to mark cards owned, watch your completion percentage climb, and filter to just the cards you still need.

Short answer

A master set tracker shows which cards in a Pokemon set you own and which cards are still missing. PocketRune turns each set list into a private checklist, then connects that progress to your Collection and binder plans.

  • Mark owned cards from a set checklist or from your account Collection.
  • Filter to missing cards to create a practical want-list.
  • Use the same progress data when building a set binder.

Set and card metadata comes from pokemontcg.io. PocketRune stores your private owned/chase state locally and syncs it only when you sign in.

A live checklist for every set

Open any set and you get its full card list as a checklist. Tap a card to mark it owned; the progress bar and completion percentage update instantly. Filter to "missing" and you have a precise want-list — no spreadsheet, no manual entry.

Your progress is saved in your browser per set, so you can pick up where you left off without an account.

Turn the gaps into a shopping list

The missing filter is the point: it shows only what stands between you and a complete set. From there you can jump straight to eBay or Amazon to track down the singles and sealed product you need.

Pair the tracker with the binder planner and you can lay those same cards into pages as they arrive.

Master set vs. set list

A base set list is the numbered cards in a set. A "master set" usually adds the reverse holos, promos, and other variants — a bigger, harder target. PocketRune tracks the cards the data source lists for each set, so you can chase whichever definition of "complete" you collect toward.

FAQ

Is the master set tracker free?
Yes — all of it. Tracking owned vs. missing on any set is free — saved in your browser when signed out, synced across your devices when you sign in. TCGplayer CSV import and seeing what your collection is worth are free too. PocketRune is funded by optional affiliate links, not a subscription.
Does it track reverse holos and variants?
It tracks the cards the data source lists for each set. Coverage depends on the set; most modern sets include their variants.
Will my progress sync across devices?
Yes. Signed out, progress is stored in your browser; sign in and it syncs across all your devices — free for every account.
Can I import my collection?
Yes — TCGplayer CSV import is free, so you can bring an existing collection straight in. You can also export a missing-cards list from any binder.
