Binder planner

Plan your binder before you sort a single card

PocketRune is a free visual planner for Pokémon TCG binders. Drag cards into 9-pocket pages, mark what you own and what you still need, and see the whole spread before you ever crack a sleeve.

Short answer

A Pokemon binder planner lets you arrange cards on a real pocket grid before touching the physical binder. PocketRune adds owned/missing tracking, set checklists, folders, auto-organize, Michi art inserts, and print-ready PDFs in one private planning workspace.

  • Use PocketRune for private binder layouts, not public sharing.
  • Start blank, from a set, from your Collection, from a folder, or from a template.
  • Signed-out binders stay local; signed-in binders sync across devices.

Card metadata comes from pokemontcg.io. Card art is hot-linked from the source API and is not stored by PocketRune.

See the whole spread, not one card at a time

Sorting a binder by trial and error means pulling pages, reshuffling sleeves, and starting over when a new set throws off your order. A planner lets you arrange everything on screen first: pick a layout, drop cards into pockets, and rearrange pages by dragging — no physical handling until the plan is right.

Every page renders as the real pocket grid you own (2×2, 3×3, 3×4, or 4×4), so what you design is what you build.

Track owned vs. missing as you plan

Mark each pocket as owned, wanted, or ordered. Your binder becomes a want-list and a build-list at the same time — you can see at a glance which slots are still empty and exactly which cards close the gap.

Free users keep everything in the browser; nothing is public, and no account is required to start planning.

Built for the Michi method and master sets alike

Planning a decorative Michi-method page where art spills across nine pockets? Or a strict master set in number order? PocketRune handles both — and when you are ready to print, it exports a high-resolution, print-ready PDF sized to standard pages, free.
